STROOM.tv

STROOM.tv is a Belgian independent record label founded by Ziggy Devriendt (aka Nosedrip) in Ghent. Emerging from an online radio platform, the label has become known for its distinctive curation of obscure, archival and contemporary sounds by artists such as Florian T M Zeisig, Ben Bertrand, Dali Muru & The Polyphonic Swarm, Voice Actor, and Martyna Basta. Blending ambient, left-field electronics, minimalism and experimental pop, STROOM champions authenticity, nostalgia and emotional depth over commercial trends — a hallmark of Belgium’s underground music culture.

Open chess | Library

Hosted by Dissociated Chess Club

During the festival, the Dissociated Chess Club takes over the library for an open chess open to everyone. Free games, casual lessons and spontaneous matches — it’s all about playing seriously without taking it too seriously.
A quiet spot to keep your mind sharp between two shows.

Dissociated Chess Club (DCC)
Founded in late 2021 between Liège and Paris, the Dissociated Chess Club brings together two members fascinated by the aesthetics and iconography of chess. Through music, design, jewellery, textiles and streaming, the duo reinterprets the game’s universe while hosting events such as Live Chess Events, open chess sessions and tournaments.
The DCC has already set up its boards at La Conservatoire (Noisy-le-Sec), Brasserie Atlas and Veranda81 (Brussels), as well as Atomic City (Paris). Inspired by the concept of heterotopia, the club aims to create an “other space” — a warm, welcoming environment where people can step away from the urban chaos for a moment.
